Has the blower motor been replaced? My experience is that the secondary market blowers do not work nearly as well as the OEM blower. I hope there is one out there that does work but I have not found it yet after three tries. For me, A/C and Defrost do not have the output needed to do the job. Using a relay is about the only alternative since max output with the newer motors is the equivalent of medium on the OEM blower. Craig

Craig Not cheap but if you still have the old one you could send it out for exchange for one that has been restored. http://www.bmcuda.com/products.asp?cat=10

A simple Bosche style is the easiest to find. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Truck-Auto-A...c54&vxp=mtrOne similar to this. Found in just about any auto parts store with a socket as well. Craig

If the low side is freezing, it's probably a restriction or TXV. Need to know what your pressures are. With the gauges does the low side pressure try to pull down to zero or even a vacuum before cycling? For the fan, try and adapt a late model Caravan dual blade fan. Those move a monstrous amount of air. Spinning the old fan faster is going to have limited results. And get a OE fan! The aftermarkets have really bad blade designs and don't move much air but make lots of noise!
