Oh trust me...no offense taken at all.....I was just curious..as the strip is so seldom seen, I guess having one for 26 years WITH it...I notice more when they don`t have them and think it looks odd without .....and to be honest..thats my peeve with the 72`s..I don`t care for the rubber around the lights.....But I absolutely agree 100 % that the 72 RR grille is a awsume grille Don`t matter....the 71-2 body is still my favorite..period ! Oh..and i`ve got a better pic with BOTH wheels off if i ever can get it scanned someday Rick

I was reading somewhere that the guards are rare on the bumpers. My satellite has them.
Bumper guard sales figures for 71
RR front only - 55 rear only - 96 front & rear - 396
GTX front only - 14 rear only - 8 front & rear - 154
Sorry, no Sebring figures. The only Satellite #s I've seen combine the 2 and 4-doors.

with all the knowledge that is in this thread about 71/72 cars, someone has to know this number.... How many 71 GTX 4 speed cars came in Tawny Gold (GY9) with a White Vinyl top and White interior?
Can anyone answer this question?

the bumper guards on the rear of a 71 are just hidious
These also came on '72's it's not a '71 only deal and look really bad cause of the shape of the '72 taillights. I agree with BlownX on the '71's it's kinda hard to see cause the '71's awesome taillights take away from it..

Wow 10 72 RR grills? That enough to put a couple kids through college.
Yeah I know the average complete '72 grille needing some work $1,000. But luckily I have been into the 71-4 B-bodies for the last 10-12 years and picked up every '72 grille & piece I could find while I have $$$ invested in them...It's about 20-25% of what it would cost today... I knew these awesome cars would come Valuable once the E-bodies and 68-70 B-bodies became Astronomical

This is a great post..With all this interest in the 71/72 cars it would seem the aftermarket companies would get a clue and start helping with the restorations..What would you guys give for a set of repopped quarter panels?? Door skins?? As far as all the opinions as which car looks better or is worth more, its just a matter of taste, but its nice to see all the interest in one of the best looking B bodies// Mopars ever built..

Since it seems like everyone who likes the 71-72 plymouth Bs is here now...most of you may already know about it, but there's a great website for the 4th generation B bodies http://www.roadrunnernest.com/Check it out, Dave the administrator knows a lot about these cars...he's on here occasionally.

Nothing much special, in that pic..275/60 Drag radials on a 8" wheel, Caltracs, 9 way Ranchos and stock springs
Rick
Judging by the launch in your 10.50 run, your caltracs and 9-way ranchos work pretty dang good!
What are your 60ft times?
