I am using a Hayes blow shield with a 143 tooth Flywheel. Do you guys think the mopar mini starter Will work or should I use a factory starter. Also, should it be mounted On the inside diameter or outside where the little Tab was that got knocked out. It's a 10.5 compression Engine. Thanks

I ended up having to get a RobbMC starter. I am using 2" TTI headers, and they say it is the only starter that will work. Did not recognize this pre install, and switched to the RobbMC after fighting to get a Mopar mini-starter to work.

Thanks. When you say "MP Starter" do you mean the mini starter or do you mean the factory/original bigger starter?

Thanks. When you say "MP Starter" do you mean the mini starter or do you mean the factory/original bigger starter? Ive used both = B-body has a factory starter the a-body has the mp mini starter - locations would be the same regardless of which starter you use.
