I use amsoil. Dominator 15/50. Brad Penn 20/50 if I'm low on cash.

Royal Purple 20/50 in mine since run in , motor been running since 2007. Brad Penn run in oil and Brad Penn 40 (?) Straight mineral for first 600 miles.
Will only warrant cam/engine with these 2 oils .
Have heard good results with Lucas oils , in roller cam motor .
Oil choice is like beer , lots of flavours just got to find 1 you like .

Brad Penn UNLESS It is E85. They don't play well together.

Al,

May I ask what it is that " they don't play we'll together" means and what do you run with E85 for oil?

VR1 10w/30 . But I have a lot of left over 20/50 that I used on a car I sold so I may go with 3q 10/30 and 2q 20/50 to get close to a 15/40

I've been running Lucas "HotRod" 10w-30 with a zinc additive for a few years now.

Driven 10w-30 conventional oil in the Stocker and Driven 5w-20 synthetic in the SS motor. Run a 10w-30 synthetic in the bracket roller motors. I am a Driven oil dealer (Joe Gibbs) if anyone needs any.
