GTX MATT OP master Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 5,163 CT	Which way does the o ring/gasket face in the pinion housing if you are looking from the outside of the transmission looking in? Does the snap ring go in after it to retain it? Looks like there is no groove for the snap ring?? Now I need to pin those needles, got to feel that heat Hear my motor screamin while I'm tearin up the street

buildanother I Live Here B Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 11,543 chicagoland,usa	The "flat" side of seal faces out and it seats on a slight step in the speedo housing IIRC. The little wire ring rests up against it then and does not fit in a groove.
