I've wondered about that too. Maybe not an app issue (they're the same except the back length of the fitting), maybe something on the assy line to keep em in order (a visual) as they go down the line

using the longer fitting on the wheel cylinder side makes it easier to get a wrench on due to the bleeder screw protruding from the wheel cylinder.
at the tee area there is more room
