I would think the C body 440 would be a low po 350 horse 4 bbl version and the E body one would be a 375 horse HP one (if 4bbl) or a six pack (390 horse?)

An hp motor would have the heavy rods and matching special harmonic balancer
Restoring a car to look "only" as good as the factory made it is like getting a boob job for your wife and having the doctor make them two different sizes to seem more natural

Oil pan is different on c-body also
