Ballast resistors(the Mopar ones) will burn you..
they get real hot

A good freind of mine found out the hardway about MSD 7 ignitions being able to zap the crap out of him with the motor and igntion switch turned off, he had drank several after work hour beers and touch his arm onto one of the coil terminals with his hand touching the motor 
He fell, was knock off of, his open car trailer and broke a tooth on the steel channel on the side of the trailer where the tires ride on 
Be careful around any ignitions components, engine running or not
