Can some guys with W2's and engine plates post some pics please.

I bought a motor with W2's and need to get some ideas.

The SB all mounts the same.. behind the water pump..
this is my W-5 but you will get the idea

I just started to "mock " mine up, and was afraid the water pump bolts wouldn't be strong enough.

I have 1 bolt on the RH side and 2 on the LH side.

I also have a mid mount.

I use a mid plate also.... .090 thick steel that mounts
between the trans and block... dont let that go into
the starter area.. that would give a larger space
between the starter gear and the ring on the conv

I really like my engine plate from AR Engineering Andy has been making some cool small block stuff lately too.

I forgot.... I use 3/8" 6061 T6 alum plate for the
front mounting plate... I wouldnt go thinner.. JMO
but I have bent 5/16" coming down from big wheel stand
because that plate is a structural member of the chassis

I run tube chassis cars so the front and mid plates
help stiffen the chassis... a lot of people run a front
plate but not a mid
