do you have a factory 440 truck?

I'm asking because you've gotta have the correct Power Brake Booster.

I used M/T valve covers and had to shave the fins under the booster, even with the small booster.

Its a factory 440 Truck. I know the RB have and must use the Small diameter booster. Im going to be regasketing another 440 to stick in because the head gasket sprung a leak. I was wanting some First hand experiance with aftermarket Valve covers. I dont want a chrome stamped one.
I may end up just getting the Stockers Hydro Dipped. Thanks

The Mopar Performance cast valve cover hit the booster pretty hard in my truck. Might have been able to grind the fins down to clear but it still would have been too close for my liking. I removed the booster.

I am running the Mopar Perf. cast aluminum covers, I did have to grind the fins down under the booster. I'll get you a pic this evening.

A Hydraboost will cure all your problems, as long as you have power steering already.

Not the greatest pic, but there is about 1/2" or so clearance between cover and booster, hope this helps you.

Thats exactly what I wanted to see. Anyone have the M/T or Holley Version? Thanks. This will help with a later build. I think the clubcab is just getting the stockers Hydro Dipped

An 85 1 ton small booster with Mopar Performance valve covers would still hit with the fins taken all the way off. In this picture the fins weren't machined off yet....and the booster wouldn't sit flush against the firewall with or without fins. Ended up selling the MP ones to a member here.
