A bird crapped on my white convertible top and I managed to get out all but a 1/16 inch yellow spot by using soap & water, tooth paste and a Mister Clean sponge. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to remove the last yellow spot without damaging the top?

Thanks for your assistance in advance.

John

Maybe try a little spray nine. I have used it on my white seat cushions. Magic eraser probably will take out the spot but I don`t know if it will damage the top or not.

Soft Scrub with bleach. Just don't get it on anything that is not white. It will bleach a spot.

I have used "Fantastic" on my 70 300Hurst ragtop . . . white top. Also on the white vinyl interior of my Duster360, spray it on, use a little scrub brush, and BAM, things look brand new again !!! I have a buddy that uses the Spray Nine . . . works about the same . . . good luck !!

Cheers

Mark

Many thanks for the prompt replies. I have tried the soft scrub with bleach and it did lighten it some, but it is still there. I will have to find some Nine and Fantastic and try them. Cross your fingers.

Thanks,

John

Let the Soft Scrub sit there a couple of hours, keeping it damp and not letting it dry out. And it helps to scrub it ever so often while it is working.

If you find something that works better than anything else, let us know.
