I've heard questions from two of the head NHRA SS tech guys about the center piece being removed, so we leave ours "stock appearing", or whatever the customer wants. We also offer lightened strut rods and centerlinks for any mopar, offer roller bearing idler arms, and our patented quick release drag link bushings for applications where the centerlink runs through the pan. BobsProFab OP master B Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 2,584 sycamore,ohio	Fred, Yes its legal to trim and notch the k frame for NHRA S/S like i posted earlier, take a closer look at some of the fastest Legal SS/A cars K frames can be done in different styles, from mild to wild. depends what the customer wants not sure how a 6 cyl. k frame would be any lighter all k members are the same (6 cyl. or V8), just different motor mount configurations. Thanks, Ron You can put a motor anywhere you want it, but you have to remember to keep a workable crank centerline to the ground number. Get it too low and the car will never work, depending on suspension, power and how the rest of the car is setup. With the crank C/L low, you will need lots of power and a very good working car to stick the tire. Monte
