ARP calls for 105 on my small block. The objective with studs is to be able to run higher torque #'s than conventional head bolts for more clamping power. Studs are to be run in to the block finger tight only - and their suggested torque #'s are with their lube.

Probably doesn't apply, but FWIW for a small block, stock head bolt torque is 90 lbs. Edelbrock aluminum heads recommend 95 lbs. I run eddys in a blower application with equivalent CR of 16.1 ( and more )at times. I run mine up to 105 ( believe that is an ARP recommendation ) with MLS gaskets.
