now T&D is making a nice rocker arm for the hemi.and harlem sharp has a new version seems to work well.I don't think it's fair that we compare a performance w series or aftermarket Indy head to a production Gen 3

That's my point. I was just hoping someone had ETs to share from an apples to apples to comparison between the two.

Wasn't the one who came in edelbrock victor head post and said hemi heads flow just as much as them stock. Wasn't the one who asked for a combo when some said a old design indy head out proformed them, just show a running combo. Now you want a apple to apple or a 2000 cad designed head compaired to a 1950(?) designed head. LOL hope something improved in the past 50 years.

How much do these rockers cost and what kind of lift can you run with them?

The Gen3 stuff will be no different than the LA stuff..
given some time the Gen3 will have plenty of parts
and will out perform the LA... they didnt come out
with a W series head for years after the LA came out..
the gen3 stock block will take more power than a stock
LA block now

I spoke to one of the guys at Hughes, and he told me that Edelbrock sent them a CNC ported head to put on their flow bench. He thought it has 2.12 intake valves, and they only have the one. Supposedly they are going to be available in January.

That w5 exhaust pattern is a real kick in the nuts. With all the w2 headers for Indy floating around you would think... ahhh never mind.

This is the head to run in ultra if it flows anywhere close to what they say.

With the 16* valve angle you fall into the plus or minus 2* rule from stock. So you can run these at a stock valve angle weight. So a r3 at 440 cu inch with these heads could be 3050 lbs.

If they ever get done I will do CNC program for them.

Had one in my hand last year and was not impressed

Exhaust port will be good intake not so much...

So flow number look backwards to me ????

I would think more like 330-350 intake and 250-265 ex.

And Brads right would be the Mopar head to have in ultra but is 16* valve angle get the stock head break???

Under 15* gets hit with weight...me and Brad only have to be 3200...smh

can you roll your W8/9 head back one degree to get the weight break. that is kind of stuff they do out here.
