Hey gang.. Looking to get a good quality bed retractable bed tonneau cover for my wife's 2012 Dodge Ram Sport. We would prefer one that enables the tailgate to open/close without having to mess with the cover. Planning on going on a trip and want to throw the luggage back there without fear of rain.

I put a Extang Solid Fold tonneau cover on my daughters Dakota for when she went to college.. Yes it more $$$$$$ But I have seen pics of my kid with half a dozen other college kids standing on it at a larcross game.... I did add a aftermarket tailgate lock.. Here is a page with video... but look around I got mine for a lot less... http://tonneaucoversworld.com/extang-solid-fold.aspx

On the Extang Trifecta folding cover, does it handle the weather and Sun fine? I mean, it is a soft top cover, no?

Mine handles the weather just fine, rain, snow no problem even car wash. last few few winters mine has had some pretty large amount of snow on it and no issues. Yes it is a soft cover. It will stretch some , them when the sun hits it , it will tighten back up. I have had mine going on 6 years and no issues at all.
Switched to the dark side...

Truxedo lo-pro qt has a lifetime warranty. The rest are 3 to 5. We sell these every day and they are a quality simple cover.

Extang... I don`t have the folding one but its been great for the six years I have had it, in all weather and car washes.
