We would prefer one that enables the tailgate to open/close without having to mess with the cover. Planning on going on a trip and want to throw the luggage back there without fear of rain. Easy to install and remove, no tools or drilling, hinged top retracts in seconds and it holds up great under heavy snow too because it has a boxed frame, no bows. The only drawback is it doesn't retract to leave the whole bed accessible like the roll up ones do since it folds in thirds. If you need to load something large like a tractor or furniture you need to take it off.

Yes it more $$$$$$ But I have seen pics of my kid with half a dozen other college kids standing on it at a larcross game.... I did add a aftermarket tailgate lock.. Switched to the dark side...

Yes it is a soft cover. It will stretch some , them when the sun hits it , it will tighten back up. I have had mine going on 6 years and no issues at all. Switched to the dark side...

BigEdsGarage pro stock Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,467 Monroe,Connecticut	The Trifecta is built in 3 folding sections, each section has an aluminum frame. Its not a hard cover. It holds up very well in heavy snow, never bowed or caved in once on me!
