Brian those are some good numbers however ----- I don't race flow benches so the question I would ask is ---- anyone running these heads and what is the real world performance with these heads as compared to??

Will be dynoing a set of Victor 440 max wedge heads on my sons 493 late next week, can't wait to see the numbers !
What type of port work (if any) has been done to those heads? If ported, do you have any flow test results?

Looking at all the flow numbers on hughes site, the MW Victors really stand out. I would have thought they'd need at least 500 ci. Mick

Those flow numbers are right on par with a set of CNC Gen III Apache heads.
Mopar to the bone!!!

I did the port work on these heads and it pretty much only amounted to a clean up and fixing the port entry that Edelbrock for whatever reason doesn't finish.
I had Brian @IMM flow only one chamber, I just wanted to get a ball park as to where they stood, without optimizing the valve job or any other tricks, the intake flowed 368 @.700 and the Exhaust went either 228 or 238 I can't remember, Nick has the sheet.
Again, this wasn't anything more than a clean -up and the as delivered valve job.

Impressive numbers! What size of engine needs to be used to take full advantage of the airflow and the port size of these heads?
The 440-1 size ports will work well on motors from 440 to about 572 cubes. A 440 will have a very high torque peak, over 5600 rpm, and a 572 would peak torque somewhere around 4800 or less. My 528 seemed to be a good size and makes peak torque at 5,100, peak hp at 6900 and 7000 rpm. Just my opinion, but I think the sweet spot for size is 528 to 540 cubes.

My 440-1 heads with the Indy CNC-325 ports and 2.18 intake valve flow way more on the ex than those Victors. Intake, not nearly as good. Had Jim LaRoy fix the valve job and that is the reason for the before / after. Probably should have had him put in 2.25 valves. lift............before..........after .100..........69/61.........80/68 .200........144/123......158/134 .300........215/172......226/183 .400........274/217......277/229 .500........321/251......320/265 .600........346/280......349/290 .700........362/301......368/307 .800........372/317......372/327
