After liberal amounts of penetration oil I got my cowl vent moving freely with the under dash handle, my question is it looks like a pretty easy install of replacing the handle with an electric solenoid to open and close it. Anybody do this?

I'd take Ron's idea a bit farther, use the windshield wiper motor and a linkage to make the vent go up, down, up, down like Pac Man.
R.
The linkage is all there, I just need a linear actuator to replace the handle
