Do you already own the tools to check it's concentricity and runout?

1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's
1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)

That was the main thing with them. There are several choices available besides Lakewood.

I dont think youll need a 143 tooth flywheel on a 340.

Most big block dont need one.

I used to care but....... things have changed

Isn't the 130 tooth flywheel for use with a 10.5" clutch and the 143 for an 11.0" clutch?

What type of scattershield are your going to use? What transmission? You will need to dial indicate the bell housing either way. Offset dowels are available from RobbMc and are the best time saver in the world. If you are using a Lakewood, take your time and triple check everything and make sure everything is tight, not just hand tight.

The 130 tooth flywheel will accept a 10.95" clutch that almost everyone has. 130 tooth is the way to go. The 143 tooth flywheels were used on big block applications and trucks. A majority of the aftermarket companies are not manufacturing the 143 tooth flywheel any longer since the demand has gone away.

My Lakewood scatter shield says is compatible with both, however according to the directions from TTI, there are starter fitment issues with the 143 tooth and TTI's.

I used the 130 tooth flywheel and the Street Twin from McCleod. The bell had to be both shimmed and have offset dowels, but it wasn't that bad.
