The sizing relationship between the MT DOT and non-DOT, and the Hoosier DOT and non-DOT is similar.
i.e. a 26 x 8.5 ET drag is roughly the same at a 26 x 10 ET Street
Is the section of your current tires measured, or what Hoosier lists? Section will vary depending on the rim width it was measured on. MT lists the section of that tire based on a 8.5" rim. How wide are your rims? There were some guidelines on rim width change to section width change, but I do not recall exactly what they were...

They compare the 295-65 to the 30x12.5 ET Street bias tire, but the bias ET Streets are listed by the section width, not tread width. A 28x12.5 ET Street is the same size as a 28x10.5 ET Drag. The 30x12.5 ET Street is basically the same size as a 29.5x10.5 ET Drag...fit the same on my car. If you can fit the 30x9 slick on there now, I'm almost positive the 295-65 radial will fit w/ no problems. I ran that tire for a long time on my cuda.
