Did Mexico put D60s in the rear of their RC's. Have a guy saying they did but I'd never heard that?
Anyone Verify this option? Or is he

Don't know What road your talking about. I know ford and jeep had them Years ago. Has Nothing to do with what I'm asking.

I have one of those 5 lug Dana 60-2 in my shop right now. It came out of a Jeep Gladiator truck. I built it for my '87 D100. I cut one tube 6" and the corresponding axle 6" and had it resplined (stock 35 spline!) and reassembled with all stock parts (12" drum brakes) and it will virtually bolt into my truck. With 16" wheels @ 5 on 5.5" bolt circle I could put it into a Duster (A-body width)

They (Jeep Gladiators) are not that rare...there is one being used as a sign board at a tire shop on Meridian and another for sale 1/2 mile south on the other side of the highway.

Did you see I posted NOT That Body style. They also had 81-93 Body style In mexico. As I already said that is what he claims had a D60. They ran the 81-93 Body Style in Mexico for at least 3 more Years before changing to the Body style of the green one above

sure i saw that---your friend the claimant has obviously made a mistake on the ID of that axle----let us know when you actually see it and we can all have a laugh----until then we can all just sit around thinking abstract thoughts wondering if they are true----on the flip side once i found an 8.75 under a volare and it started a huge arguement---the reality was someone put it there so that the volare was once again useful---at my house you can find a dana 60 under my 64 and a 9.25 under another 64--along with a narrowed 9.25 under a hudson---i have put 3/4 ton axles under a ramcharger because it amused me---now i am doing cummins conversions on vehicles that didnt originally have them------you strike me a really bright guy that is saddled with a friend that mistook at stock ramcharger 9.25 for a dana 60----a common thing as i mentioned before.....

I found the pics he posted so here they are. My guess is its a 91-95/96. Don't recall when they stopped this body but the headlights say Plastic Grill.
