Is there a non hei cap available to use factory wires? Buddy has a ready to run msd distributor in his 440 and would like to factory female end wires at the cap.

You can use a pre-HEI points style GM cap on the distributor also.

Have a part number as I am getting mixed messages that one is available?

The MSD cap is based off of the GM point distributor cap. A regular Point distributor cap from a GM point distributor will have the other spark plug ends on it.

everything is going to the spark plug type ends for the distributor caps... even the newer aftermarket coils are the same connectors. i'm using a set of taylor wires (i have the same dizzy just a low deck version on my 400)
