I was going to respray my rims this winter on my 71 charger rt as they got a few nicks from driving it too much! I have not been real happy with Totally auto lately as they have sent me a wrong color and made me wait 2 weeks for a new one AFTER I sent back the one they sent in error. I had requested extra tips because the last 2 cans of engine color I got from them had tip problems, well no extra tips showed up. Then the tip in my organisol can from them was hit or miss at best as I had to soak it twice in paint thinner just to get it to shoot from the can and then it clogged up again and splattered across the top of my wing! So needless to say I am looking for a new source of paint. I checked on ebay and all I could find was this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Mopar-Perfor...627&vxp=mtrIs it just me or does that look too dark??

The MP paint looks fine and is all I used to use but last time I bought the Totally Auto paint and it is even nicer and not as gloss. Ron

Michael, give this Dupli-Color Silver Caliper Paint a try. Number BCP103. I used the Totally Auto Rallye Wheel Paint and it looked a little on the green side to me. The more I looked at it, the more I wasn't happy with it. Here's a shot of a recent set I did for a driver. The color is very close to the original silver. It's now the only Rallye Wheel Silver that I like the best. Eddie

For a driver my go to rallye wheel paint has been Krylon dull aluminum with a coat of clear. Cheap and looks as good or better than the $$$ spray cans.
I've seen the Krylon dull aluminum 1401 compared to original paint non rusted So Cal 71 Rallye rims and it was a very close match. Same fine metallic and not shiny like some wheel paint (MP)

My powder coater informed me that the color I used was Anodized Silver from Tiger Drylac product code 38/91020
From Tiger I used Bengal Silver code number 999.
