I have a a518 and I recently put a transgo full manual shift kit in it. The question I have is do I have to hook up the kick down or not?? Some people say to yes and some say no.. so what should I doooo?

If you did not modify the throttle valve you will have to hook it up for pressure on acceleration

IIRC that kit gives you instructions to either tie the throttle pressure lever back or block the valve or internal lever to push the throttle pressure valve all the way in.

The linkage is optional, if you install it the part throttle shifts will be less firm than if you tie the lever full back. With the lever tied full back the part throttle shifts will be real firm.
