Measure from the tires you have to the inside and outside of the wheel tubs, inner wheel wells, or the smallest thing in diameter as well as forward and backwards limiting your tires in that car and go from there
Measure three times, buy tires once
I have two 1966-67 B bodys, they don't take a very big tire stock
I moved the springs into the sub frames on my 1966 Dodge Coronet deluxe,I also added the Mopar SS springs. I had the front of the stock wheel wells and fenders lengthen 3 inches forward so I can run some decent size tires on that car
Let us know what you decide and do
BTW, take it from a old drag racers, buy a set of bias ply slicks, if you can find them in 14 inch or 15 inch and mount them on a spare set of wheels and use them at the race track only, do NOT buy Radials drag slicks
Radial drag slicks work great on a good track, not so on most non prep drag strips
The bias plys slicks will work better at most regular drag strips
