Installing 2 and a half inch TTI system on a 70 Cuda. Its a 426 hemi crate motor with stock exhaust monifolds. Its the H-pipe system. Got right side on but when Iput left muffler into H pipe its 2 or 3 inches inside the exhaust hanger. Any one else have issues with this system. Any ideas?

My son put a 3" system on his Challenger and the fit using the TTi headers was horrible. Right side was way too close to the driveshaft and both sides were too low. Ended up pie cutting the H-pipe in multiple places to make it fit the way it should. Will never buy another. Just have one made.

Call TTI and make sure you have the correct pipes in the right spots?

What mufflers are you using?

First system I installed didn't fit right, then I noticed small small numbers on the end of each pipe. Once I matched all those numbers up it fit like a glove.

Then the second one fit great also, match the numbers up, there on each pipe I believe. It's easy to get them mixed up.

My system didn't fit either (70 Challenger SB), finally figured out they had shipped a wrong part.

Double check everything as mentioned.

Was it a complete TTI system? I put one on a B body and could not believe how well it fit. First hour or so I was trying to put the left side exhaust on the right side, but once I figured that out....

Is your engine sitting in the proper location? They usually make that a big point in their header fitment.

Aurora, Oh.
I put on the TTI 2" headers with the 3 1/2" collectors and the complete 3" TTI exhaust on my 70 Challenger and they fit great. It is tight but with the 3" pipes you should expect that.
