Does anyone still make the W-2 to standard port adapter plates? It looks like there is still market for them.

I have been really wondering where I will go next with my motor and this has been a good discussion thanks.

I have Shady Dell stage II Edelbrocks with 2.05 intakes. My car has run a best of 11.18@120.5 364CID 3525lbs full exhaust system.

I have a 4" crank and 340 block I have talked about putting together for years. Now my next project is EFI instead of that(hang on little 360 lol). I keep wondering if the next step should just be Gen III.

Stock header bolt location yes...But far from a stock exhaust port.
J,X or eddie, and pro comp is a stock exhaust port.I wish i could post pictures.

I'm agreeing with you. If he has to retain stock exh. Flange
I would not use the Indy heads
I don't know which would be best. I've seen several cars run great with the eddies

and people should not dismiss the Indybrocks I had a set with there cnc porting 2.05/1.60 valves on a 416 and it was pushing 650hp, car was right at 3100lbs and was running 9.7x's at 138.
and I believe it would have done a little better with a dominator but never got to try one.

My eddies were ported by Dr J. They flow a tad over 300 @ 600. They took my 410 with 11.8 compression and E85 to 10.53@125.6 full exhaust and factory hydraulic roller set up with a race weight of 3500 lbs. Dynoed 583 on a 850/ 596 on a dominator.
I'd like to know if anyone is running hughes big mouth heads? They do have a offset intake, but factory exhaust ports. His website makes some pretty impressive claims.

10.56 at 125.6, with a 1.43 60 ft. E85, Hyd. Roller 410 magnum,full exhaust, 3500 race weight.

Who makes those gaskets with the dual bolt pattern? That set looks like they will work for me. I have econo W2's on my 408 in my d100. So no one makes a W2 header for that combo and I have to use standard headers. Always have trouble with them leaking.

If you are talking about the ones I posted, they are tti, and I bought them from Hughes engines

Edelbrock claims a 58cc combustion chamber, not so...it's more like 63cc
My heads were cut .030 and ended up at 57.9

I thought the 58cc was for the magnum head and the standard was 63?

They list them as 63 and 65, with the Victor at 58.

Has Edelbrock finaly found a deposit of unobtanium big enough to start casting those victor heads?

Last I heard( and hope I am wrong) was that Edelbrock was unhappy with the potential of the head, and we're going back to the drawing board. This was a couple of weeks ago. Buddy called them and this was what he was told

These are some CNC ported Hughes magnum Edelbrocks w/ 2.08 / 1.60 valves. Per Hughes, intakes flow 304 @ .650 and exhausts flow 223 @ .650. I measured the chambers @ 63 CC's. Probably were around 60 before the CNC work.
