Oil pressure ports thread size on 383? #1657588

Anybody know the thread sizing on the two oil pressure ports on a 383?

1970 Plymouth Cuda, 512cid on 230 400 block, 5 speed manual.(TKO 600)
1970 Dodge Charger 500, 446cid, 5speed manual.(TKO 600)
1969 Plymouth Roadrunner, 383cid, 5speed manual (Tremec TKX)

My core is a '78 but I think all B/RB are the same.

At the back of the block, on top and under or almost under the cowl on most models. Typically the 1/8" port is used for the factory sender that looks like a little barrel with wire on top and the 1/4" port is plugged.

Location on 1970 383. Other B-RB are typical.

I do know where the sender is, but I have not found the second port. How close to the original sender is the second port. I want to add a mechanical pressure gauge while retaining the electrical. G

I guess it's possible that the early blocks didn't have both ports, but if it's there, it will be adjacent to the other port you have coming off of the same cast in galley in the back of block. In other words, about 2 inches away from the one you already know of. It's easy to get a brass splitter/adapter if there's just one port too.

They all have both ports, it's pointing toward the passenger side of the car, you just can't see it in that picture above.

Maybe a little better in this one...
Not that it matters one way or the other but you can add a factory warning light sensor in the mechanical gauge line by using a T fitting off of the back of the gauge. That's the way many new gauge clusters are formatted when using multiple gauges with warning lights.

Yep I found it pointing to the passenger side. Square plug. Looks like there is an access hole just above the throttle cable access. Thank you for the pictures and help. G
