dogdays I Live Here D Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 16,376	I did it on a smallblock after the gasket in the kit had shrunk beyond usefulness. Parts-store red silicone RTV sealed it up just fine. R.

RapidRobert Circle Track R Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 36,040 Lincoln Nebraska	I ain't really a RTV fan (its the cats' ass to clean off) but blue (best color for coolant) Permatex RTV will work fine. As you know nice/even coat live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth
