Got the fuel pressure gage installed on the demon and the car is running a Edelbrock run quiet electric pump with a built in regulator. It had 3 psi at the carbs and we moved it up to 6.5. What are most of you running?

If you have a KNOWN calibrated gauge a Holley will
take 7.5 PSI.. it MIGHT go 8 PSI without blowing the
needle off the seat... I run 7-7.5 psi... the AFB
style take a lot less

With the smaller volume pumps I push the pressure up to as much as the needles wil take to blow them off and then lower the prssure down 1/2 to 1.0 lbs On the bigger volume pumps I'm running 5.5 to 7.0 lbs, they both work

I used to run the mechanical and the electric pump, but took the mechanical off. I was surprised to see the pressure that low. I am still running the 3/8 line on the car.

Eddys will flood at much over 6.5PSI. I run 6.5 no issue with starvation.

7 psi is realistic with a good gauge.. also you MIGHT
want to increase the needle/seat more than the .110
if you need it

Your covers can be screwing up the inlet air.. do you
have a radiused inlet under them and what is the mesh..
it might be too small for good flow

It has the A and A velocity stacks on it that are repops of the original ones. The mesh is a cover made for velocity stacks or air filters, a pre filter if you will. I just have them on there for street duty. They were custom made to the dimensions I needed.

With four needle and seats feeding the motor, the pressure can be a lot lower. It shouldn't take over 4 psi as long as the regulator is by the carbs. I had a system many years ago that dropped to 3 psi with two 800 Holleys feeding about 600 hp, never went lean.
