Building a Dana for my junk this winter. Ive seen numerous discussions of the different housing ends available, ie mopar ends, big ford ends, etc. Are the mopar ends and bearings sufficient or are the big ford bearings the better deal? If it matters, street car, low 11's for now, but will grow to more. Thanks

If you use the big Ford ends you can get the disc brake set up of a ford explorer. Was $385.00 when I bought.
I have that setup

Late Big Ford for the Explorer disc brakes. I have done the swap twice now. I fyou know your local junkyard guy, you can get teh setup (brackets, calipers, rotors for @ $100) he thing is, you have to remove the axle to get teh caliper bracket off, that is why most junkyards won't do it for you, unless you buy the whole thing. AND to make matters worse, through Ford, the brackets are like $230 EACH! But, again, if you are friendly with local junkyard, look for ANY 96-01 Ford Explorer, and yank the stuff off. Hope that helps.
