I had Littlefield open up the bottom on my 14-71 to decrease this issue, it now has two pie openings.

depending on the manifold design may direct more of the fuel/air charge into the front of the manifold
All clocked (rotated lobe) blowers direct more charge into the front of the manifold. The better ones compensate for this with a triangular discharge port, the worse ones don't. The sides of the triangle generally follow the rotor angle.
Important: references to "helix angle" are not the angle of the rotors, it's the number of degrees of twist the rotors make front to back. A 10" long "60° helix" rotor will have twice the angle as a 20" rotor, etc. This is one reason why rotor swaps between different Eaton M-series sizes aren't more successful...

It looks to be the standard blower base stud pattern. The issue will be, if its a true Hi-helix, is that it will probably have the triangular pie-shaped bottom opening toward the front instead of a full length opening, and depending on the manifold design may direct more of the fuel/air charge into the front of the manifold. That's why you see a lot more set-back blower setups, they are trying to locate the opening of the blower more toward the center of the intake manifold to even the fuel distribution.
I am using a delta opening from The Blower shop with a BDS intake and yes it feeds to the front but I also have an intercooler that corrects that now for the most part.
