Yes Charlie has done a great job of promoting this and getting sponsors. I must say thank you to Charlie and everyone who is scheduled to come and those who are coming that we don't have listed. Once again Thank You Charlie. Just so all you Hemi racer know I am the announcer for are events so put any sponsor you want to thank or info you want people to know put it on your tech card.

Yes there will be 2 qualifiers then elimination. If you guys want a hit before the first qualifer you can run after pros first time trial.

so we get one test run before 1&2nd Q runs all on saturday?

i have a white haulmark,,, always gets streaks down it from the aluminum molding along the top,, we tried everything to try to get them off,, i mean everything... bought some of that stuff,, it all came right off,,, though its back cause we have to put a coat of wax on it and just cant seem to find the time.. so we just keep cleaning it..

I just got off the phone with my good buddy David Hakim. He is now employed at Mancini Racing as marketing diresctor. Mancini Racing will post 500.00 to win, 250.00 runner up. They want their stickers on the car, and to be able to use the winners picture on their website. I told him that was no problem.

I also am purchasing a "trophy" from a local artist. It is a small statue, he is called "the sorrowful monk" I thought it would be an interesting, unique prize that you will always remember. He said that he makes trophys, and maybe next time (norwalk) we can get something less spur of the moment.

and I think that we will all be parked in the same general area at the race.

Something you might think about that you could get rather inexpensive to give to your sponsors are certificates of appreciation.I'm sure you would find out when you go back next year to ask again, you may find how much they appreciate them.You don't even have to frame them .just a thought

thats a good idea, (certs). the test deal isnt full, rains is going to be late also, and hard wont be there till later friday night. I will be taking delivery of the "trophy" shortly, I will post a pic of it later.

I will bring a new unopened drum of C-25 with us if anyone needs gas. its not free, but I will have it. 19.50 per gallon. I dont know how far one drum will get, I will get 10 gallons out for us, and sell the rest.
