I have a 70 dart swinger 2dr hardtop. I pulled the /6 and A903 for a small block and 4 speed. I have all the parts thanks to brewers, passon and ebay, but I am trying to weld in the "z bar support bracket" or "torque bar support bracket" or "frame side ball stud support brace" or whatever you want to call it. It's the trapezoidal shaped bracket that reinforces the sheet metal where the frame side ball stud goes. I have seen many names for it and only 3 pictures after hours of searching. What is the correct orientation of the little trapezoidal bracket? Pictures would be greatly appreciated especially if its on a stock 4 speed car. Thanks. Jared

There used to be some good pictures on www.bigblockdart.com.

Thanks for the info. I have been to bigblockdart and their website is one of my go to places, I was confused by what appeared to me to be a conflict between the photo of the brace on the car and what the image from I assume is a service manual. It does make more sense to have the brace welded to the frame though. Thanks for the photo Jim, I will proceed with confidence now.
