ScottSmith_Harms OP Mr Wizzard Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 42,714 Spokane Washington	I'm restoring a couple steering columns and in disassembling them have discovered the remnants of the factory grease that looked more like earwax than grease I have the crud all cleaned out and am reassembling everything, what type of grease do you guys like to use to lube the new parts.

burdar Owen's Dad Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 7,367 Iowa	I've got a 30 year old tub of brown Valvoline grease that I've used in my two couplers. It looks like the original stuff I cleaned out of them....only clean. I also used it to lube other steering column pieces. Last edited by burdar; 05/04/14 01:26 AM.
