4.86 @ 140 in the 1/8th in this: 1978 400 filled to the freeze plugs, aluminum main caps, eagle crank and rods, 496 CI, mains and heads studded, stage 6 heads, comp roller cam, M-1 intake injected on alcohol, shifted at 6800.

Hey now, ProSports old 451 3150# combo MP .590 cam beast still has you beat. But , not if you run a 9.60

8.80's NA in my Daytona but it was a 440 block and stock crank.

Ive got something finally coming together, that might compete But its not a 400 based build, its a 440. So I cant/shouldnt post anymore about it on this thread. 448 mp 590/12.5 maybe 9.5 @ 3000# NA

At the Mopar Nats in 1995 I talked to a guy with a 1970(?) Dart running mid to low eights, (heavy nitrous)said he had a pile of broken blocks by his shop! It sounded like he was getting maybe five passes per block?
