I run in the eights with a 8 3/4 in my car, back braced,spool, 35 spline axles. I am at 3225 and it has lived for a lot of years so far. But I only 60ft 1.35 so it's not hitting the tires that hard.

If you have a back braced housing then your fine there... you wont break that part... I'm still running my back braced housing running in the 8s with a alum center but in a light car with a 1.19 60'

Been tossing around what to do with my 8.75 Strange axle's & spool, stock housing, no back brace and stock caps & bolts = not gonna live long
