Anyone who can help. Is this the correct shift levers for my 18 spline A-833 4 speed?

Also, someone at one time ground off the tip of the input shaft, using a straight edge it still protrudes about 1 1/8 inch past the bell housing. Is it usable without repairing or replacing the input shaft?

Input shaft is fine. It that an overdrive tranny? They have the 3/4 lever upside down like that.

It might have just been put on wrong, I have never used it to drive and this is the way I got it 20 years ago.

Look on Brewers website. they may have pictures. It's hard to say with out being able to see the numbers on the levers.

I got this from Phil Newcomb before he disappeared. Numbers on the levers are 068 or 890, 967 and 891. I will pull the levers off the trans and post the numbers.

The 3 numbers on the levers are the last 3 digits of the part number. All 3 numbers, 2892890 (3rd & 4th), 2892891 (low & 2nd), & 2892967 (reverse) are found in the 1970-71 parts book. They show as fitting B & E bodies 18 Spline transmissions. The 890 & 891 also fit 1968-69 B bodies.
That's as far as I checked.

Looks like the reverse lever is the only incorrect one after I blasted them clean and can read the numbers.
