I've run the B&M flexplate with the pie cut for external balance so you don't have to run weights on the converter.

Works great!

If the bolts keep loosening, check your timing. Too much or too little will cause that, it has nothing to do with the flex plate. Also, check your bell-housing alignment, if timing doesn't do it.

I would not question the FP ... I would look at any severe VIBRATION ISSUES or a faulty converter ... like bad threads on the bolt pads OR the lack of a good lock-tite ON those bolts.

The wheel is one of the best you can get,as for the flex plate bolts coming loose I always use Lock-tite blue or red which ever I have on mine. When I want to take them out tap them with a hammer and remove them with the impact wrench.Take a wire bush on the grinder or drill and clean the treads and run a tap through the holes to clean the tread and you are ready to reassemble them again.

I have never, ever, needed or used locktite on converter bolts. Every time I had them loosen up, it's been something else causing it.
