Sand it out. Did you try plastic cleaner. Meguiers sold a cleaner and a polish. The cleaner is what cut the scratches. Try some toothpaste, since it's handy and basically free. Wenol works good too. If that all doesn't work, you need to sand it out. 1200, 800, 600 grit wet sanding on a small block to keep it level. Good post on this: https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/show...rue#Post7714490

Try the polish route first. If polish doesn't work, glass bead it for texture and then clear coat it. You should use gun clear, the 2 part kind.
I have done this a lot of times to tail lights and I do it to late model dull headlights on a regular basis.
Master, again and still

if that doesn't work then try "headlight lens restore", comes in kit form.

Maguires sells a headlight polishing kit that comes with two different abrasive discs (progressive) and two bottles of liquid, one for cleaning/maintaining and one for polishing along with a wool pad to attach to a drill. http://www.meguiars.com/en/automotive/products/g1900-headlight-restoration-kit/ I used this on all of my lenses! I picked up an NOS (RED) side marker that was less than perfect and this made it sparkle!

toothpaste not kidding try regular crest and a damp terry rag and a firm circular motion. if that does not get it go with a more agressive pearl drops or a tartar removal type and finish with the regular stuff.
I used toothpaste to polish my cloudy headlite covers on my daily driver. Use regular paste, not the gel.
