I've removed the cowl on newer ones, which gives great access but this 3.8L has a long intake manifold. Todd pro stock Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 1,377 Ohio	I do them from the bottom as well except #1 I do it from the top. Remove the small triangle shaped bracket on top of the alternator and the use of a swivel socket.

sthemi master Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 3,319 Chicago Burbs	My had a friend (ex Mopar dealer mechanic ) do the ones on my 2000 T&C minivan...3.8 normally he does them from the bottom, but mine is AWD, had to pull the cowl. and the intake plenum to get to them... AARCONV master Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 5,193 NEW JERSEY	on my 97 3.3 i did the center and the drivers on the drivers side and reached in from the side by the brake booster..the one in the front i got it from the top, removed the triangle bracket on top
