1996-2000 Caravan spark plugs

Does this require a wiper cowl removal to reach the back spark plugs?

I've removed the cowl on newer ones, which gives great access but this 3.8L has a long intake manifold. Makes me wonder if it leave the plugs still unreachable.

I've always done them from underneath, but I know other people that remove the upper intake manifold plenum.

Ive done them from the top and bottom.Bottom is way easier.Rocky

I do them from the bottom as well except #1 I do it from the top. Remove the small triangle shaped bracket on top of the alternator and the use of a swivel socket.

My had a friend (ex Mopar dealer mechanic ) do the ones on my 2000 T&C minivan...3.8 normally he does them from the bottom, but mine is AWD, had to pull the cowl. and the intake plenum to get to them...

I still owe him big...

on my 97 3.3 i did the center and the drivers on the drivers side and reached in from the side by the brake booster..the one in the front i got it from the top, removed the triangle bracket on top

I do them from the bottom. If AWD that's a pita. If your messing with them it's worth it to replace the wires too.

Thats basically the way I do it. AWD and rear AC make it much more of a pain to do. Ron
