I may have mine reversed....lol Are the Hood letters thinner than the trunk letters?? The guy doing mine is going to check tomorrow but I was just wanting to know .......

The hood letters are thin and flat. The tail panel letters are thick and curved to fit the contour of the tail panel.

You have the tail panel letters on the hood. Originally, they weren't painted black on the sides.

OK....Looks like I have 2 sets of tail panel DODGE letters ......Does anyone have the HOOD letters for a 70 71 Rallye hood??? the pins match up with the tail letters pins.....the repros I hear dont match up with the original holes.........

I bought my hood letters from Herb's Parts. They fit great. I'd heard of problems with the "G" being smaller then the others...no problem with mine. They are all the same size.

Yes, they were repops from Herb's. They fit great. I reused the factory stamped nuts. I thought I heard the letters were back ordered at one time. Hopefully they have them in stock.

I looked but I don't have a picture of them on the front. My tail panel letters also came from Herb's.

It seems rechroming the letters usually give less than satisfactory results no matter which plater you use..They were a badly needed repop..
