TimS OP top fuel Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 2,179 Walton, Indiana	I know the 69's and up contain all or portions of the VIN on the RH oil pan rail but on a 68, does a portion of the actual VIN show up on the LH side upper block ledge located near the head or is it the shipping # I should see? I can't recall. Thanks.

It suggests that the 68 and later cars have the VIN stamped on the RH oil pan rail. It should say 69 and later.
