Flatblack OP member F Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 104 Canada	Hi I am trying to gather some info for my 1972 dodge charger. I have an. 8.25 rear end. I would like to go to an 8.75 differential but am not sure what number of cases/housings would fit or what years from makes and models etc. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks! 340SHORTY Truck Nut Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 12,291 Kent, Wa	Whats wrong with the 8.25? Its a pretty stout unit in its own right. 71/72 B body for sure IIRC the 73/74 houseings had the large centering iso clamp system.. any 741/742 or 489 pumpkin will work.. I am truckless..

Nothing really I am just thinking of putting a bigger gear ratio in it, and everyone talks about 8.75 and I am possibly running a stroker motor up front.
