The leak is just as likely coming from a pin hole in the metal. Dirt collects in the trough beneath the seal and moisture rusts it through.

He's is just indepent guy who does it. I can see it coming in around the glass so I just need to get some kind of sealer inside the gasket and wondering what to use. Thanks Ronnie
Between the glass and gasket?? OR the body and gasket??
glass/gasket, get a "hook" tool and gently pry the gasket away from the glass so you can get the end of the caulking tube ( try to cut the end to leave a small point) INTO the gasket, not just around the outside. Then clean off any excess sealant with a putty knife or razor blade after you seal it. Be careful not to scratch glass... Then use a rag or paper towel with some kerosene ( damp only not wet) to wipe off the rest of sealant on the glass and gasket.. Contact a local glass shop for a tube of sealant.
DO NOT.. let a sloppy wet rag of Kerosene drip down into the gasket, this will possibly destroy any seal made with the sealer. push on the gasket too much and push out the sealant you have just applied UNDER the gasket lip, ( between the glass and gasket ).
Hope this helps

You can see it coming in at the bottom of the glass on the inside of dash. I watched the guy and he put a lot of sealer on the rubber on the frame side when he put it in and not much on the inside on the glass. I think the gasket has just dried out some and needs some sealer on the glass just got to figure out what kind to get. Thanks Ronnie
The gasket has not dried out, maybe the sealer has.. Again I recommend going to a GOOD auto glass shop for your sealer.. find an old school guy if you can....
To seal the gasket to the frame, seal up both sides and the top, leaving the bottom unsealed. Glass to gasket, seal both sides and the bottom... Occasionally this does not work, but water goes downhill pulled by gravity.. If you think in this way, leaks are more easily figured out sometimes...
