I finally put the P-BODY up for sale... I had to think long and hard whether to sell it or just keep it... well I'm not driving it so why let it just sit... I'm sure someone else can have some fun with it... its been a good car for me with very little work needed to run it... on race days I normally never even opened the hood... just topped off the fuel every third run and set the tire pressure right before I headed to the lanes... I usually sat there in the A/C or was cooking something... I'm gonna be sad to see it go but I would rather see it in use

Health issues... too many heart attacks I guess or maybe the stroke(minor one) but my doc says... no way will I give you a love letter to go racing... and I went to 3 different doctors but they all say... "what did your other doctor say"... oh well

Good luck with sale! I agree that it's nice to send it to a good home rather than let it collect dust..... what's up with that motor?? haha

I feel for you , Mike. I went through it with our '66 Cyclone and I don't kick myself as often as I used to , but I do miss the car. Based on what I have seen of your craftsmanship , I think someone is gonna get a really nice race car. And it does deserve to be out there making laps.

I'm offering the car as a roller or turn key.. if a person wants just a roller I might sell the engine or keep it... if they want it turn key I will re-fresh the engine and trans.. for a few more bucks I will have the cam reground for more lift(which it needs) but its a maintenance free set up now

Just run 10's and go have fun. Life is too short. You seem to love cars and racing, unless you just done with the whole racing scene. Is P Body coming off the door when you sell it?
I'm not taking it off... if the buyer wants to.. fine.. it will come off easy with one of those rubber eraser wheels ... I have my Rampage which should run low 10s that I will race and street drive

I was running it in 10.0 stuff but it deserves to let it eat... its a high 8 car now and with a cam regrind it could run 8.60 or so... I went the extra distance and money to make it light so let it run

We all be ho's when is comes to "the right price"
Good luck with the sale, the right buyer would also get a tech line or crew chief when the car is sold
Believe me I would be more than happy to help the new owner with anything on it... I wouldnt mind seeing it stay local so I could help at the track once in a while.... plus all the little odd ball things I have for it would go with the sale... like the valve spring compressor thats needed to pull the heads and my throttle stop set up for running 10.0 if the engine with with the car
