I have a 70 chrysler town and country station wagon(in junk yard) that has power windows. Does anyone think if I remove the front door regulators could I use in my 70 B body charger with or without modification. I know the harness wouldn't be correct but would work i could save the rear window motors and just have to find rear regulators thanks James

They are totally different motors. I took some out of a new Yorker that I parted out just to have in case my Charger ever needed them since my Charger has factory power windows. When I finally got a chance to compare them one day they were totally different in design, the way they mounted & the plugs/harnesses were totally different.

Is this true for front and rear? The front regulators look pretty much the same except the additional bar in the middle of the arm. Removing the bar shouldn't be a problem... don't know if the dimensions are different though..

Seems to be a blend of two things in this thread, regulators and motors. My experience is largely centered on B bodies, restoring a 69B&70B OE PW system, converting a 70B from manual to PW, and rebuilding PW switches.

Re the regulators, AFAIK very few if none of these will interchange between models, power or otherwise, due to the door/glass geometry variations. Regulators for the same year/model will typically be different part nos between convertible and hardtop.

Re motors, again - in my experience, I've used motors from C bodies as well as 81-85 junkyard Chryslers (which are still plentiful) on B bodies. IIRC in late 80s Chrysler redesigned the PW motors and they will not interchange with the older guys.
