I would like to build a low maintance blown engine.
It will be on alky. A 6-71 with twin toilets.
Any tips to make it live.
Will be in my Fed or Bantam.

can you use that Low Maintenance and blown engine in the same sentence ???

Do you have an aftermarket block ? First order of business for that HP level ...

No aftermarket block. I have both RB and B blocks.
Running a 498 with 720 dynoHP in the Fed, works like a charm!
Setting the valves and one oilchange every season.

I second the motion on the after market block...But at only 700hp, we make more than that on pump gas with a NA RB at 512 cubes...I would do a low deck 400 with a girdle and -500 cubes...Should make a ton of HP, problem being, the 6-71, so a non-stroked RB would be the ticket if your only using a 6-71...Is it a high end 6-71, or a plain jane one?

Friend of mine runs 4.70 with a blown RB in a Dart like a bracket car...but not with a 6-71....

Keep the motor under 450ci with the 6-71. To free up horsepower without cranking up the boost, get some ported conventional heads like Stealth, Edelbrock, etc. Use a mild cam like a Mopar 528 mechanical. locked distributor at 25deg, 8lbs boost and you'll be at 700hp with zero maintenance.

use the best parts you can afford, forged pistons are a must. I highly recommend our main cap and girdle kits to ward off cap walk and completely strengthen the bottom end. after that good rods are a must, I personally like H beam rods in that application.
