The McLeod 3 finger set ups are either remanned older units (USA made) if your lucky, or current overseas newer made units (they'll have a made in China label), which are prone to failure, the "new" McLeod clutch discs are not any better, with most complaints being loss of the friction materials...IMHO your better off sourcing a Sachs or Luk cover and disc,...my recommendation is a 3 finger BorgBeck in the 2600-2800 lbs range and a Kevlar disc, makes for a nice street/strip set up, Sachs would be my first choice....3 finger set ups are getting harder to locate, I'd recommend either Keisler Engineering, or American Power Train for a Sachs source

There are few discussions going on over in the race/tech section with good information on pressure plates and discs I would use a Borg/Beck/Long pressure plate if I were buying new. They have a smooth and easy lever action with quick release for crisp power shifts Gus
